ROM; SPACE is a poetic architectural short film about Oslo’s new library Deichman Bjørvika. The film focuses on how the light and its shadows move through the building, and create a good space for learning and relaxing. To capture the essence of the building and the playfulness of the light, I have extensively used the lenses depth of field, time laps, long camera movements and reflection. This is a poetic short film that emphasizes the architecture, the books, the light and the attention to detail one can find in the new library.

I am a cinematographer based in Oslo. I mostly do documentaries, art films, fiction and short films. In addition to that, I produce films of my own, were I do script, direction, cinematography and edit. This film ROM; SPACE is a poetic architectural short film about Oslo’s new central library Deichman Bjørvika. My previous film was a poetic short film from the old library in Oslo, Deichmanske, “A portrait of a building” (2018).
